I bought the game about 2.5 weeks ago, and have been playing SWC for about 2-3 hours every day. So it must have taken me about 30 hours to complete the entire campaign. I beat every galaxy, and was only once tempeted to use an emissary to skip a level. After the excruciatingly difficult Galaxy #27 (Fatebringer) the last three levels were surprisingly easy and straightforward. Especially the last level felt extremely easy. With just a single opponent (although with a nasty edge, no spoilers here
), I had no difficulty in securing resources and defending my base.I really enjoyed the conquest mode. The levels were different enough so they didn't feel repetitive. There was always a different kind of challenge. I loved it
On to the gauntlets then. I imagine I'll revisit some conquest maps later to try different tactics and improve my score.
