FAQ: Registration Problems and other issues

1. Question: I go online to buy the game. In the form that I am supposed it fill out, it asks for the Registration ID. What is that and where do I get it?

Answer: Each copy of the game has a unique 7-letter Registration ID. To unlock the full version, you need to provide us with that ID, so that we can send you the corresponding Activation Key. The Registration ID is found at the top of the Main Screen . Once you make a payment and provide your Registration ID, we will email you a 12-letter Activation Key. Run the Register program and enter that Activation Key. This will unlock the full version and no new download is necessary!



2. Question: I bought the game but it still says "Demo" on Main Screen. First, I purchased this game online. Next, I received a 12-letter activation through email and typed it into the Register.exe program. It said, "Thank you for buying the game" and it seemed like everything was fine. However, when I try to run the game, the Main Screen still says that its the Demo version and I can't play any new galaxies. What gives?

Answer: Whenever you turn the game on, is the Registration ID different each time? If so, the problem is that your operating system is locked, such that it is impossible to install new programs. You must disable this lock or talk to you network administrator about disabling it for you. An alternate option is to install the game on a different computer that doesn't have this lock. Since you've already made a payment, we will have your name on file. Just email us at contact@dreamspike.com with your new registration ID, and we'll send you a new activation key (free of charge).

3. Question: I have multiple copies of the game installed. I purchased the full version and registered it. It worked fine for a while, but now it says that I am running the demo again. Help!

Answer: First, you need to completely uninstall all versions of SWC. Then, download and install the latest version of the game. Finally, email us at contact@dreamspike.com with your name and new Registration ID. We'll send you a new activation key, free of charge.


4. Question: I still have a problem, and it's not one of the above!

5. Question: I left-click on buttons and nothing happens. What's wrong?

Answer: you turned on the Swap Mouse Buttons feature in the Options menu. Simply right-click on things to get back to the Options Menu and turn off that feature.
